Sr. Water Resources Engineer! Your work environment at EXPEXP's Water Resources Group is currently seeking a Hydraulic Modeler to support surface water projects throughout GTA that involve water resources, project design, and construction services.
The successful candidate will join a growing team of modelers who support land/commercial development, transit drainage, I&I studies, and floodplain mapping clients. The ideal candidate will have some experience with similar project work in the GTA.
What a day at EXP has in store for you - Provide technical input for the delivery of outputs from modeling projects.
Some experience undertaking hydraulic model build and calibration along with optimization of design solutions. - Produce reports and technical documents.
- Progress reporting and client liaison.
What your experience looks like - Experience with surface water-related modeling software (PCSWMM, OTT-HYMO, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, etc.)
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals.
- Support client liaison, including government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, and other public bodies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
Preferred Qualifications - A Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or similar), or equivalent.
- Training in specific modeling software packages and their application.
