Job Summary

NO OPPORTUNITY FOR RELOCATION CANDIDATES The Senior Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. The Senior Business Analyst provides a thorough analysis of business problems and customer needs to define functional and non-functional requirements for technology solutions; manages requirements, assists in translating them into solution specifications and verifies the fulfillment of all requirements. Strong partnership with business and technical teams to deliver solutions with respect to value, quality, and end-user experience. Acts as a conduit between IT and customers. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities

Business Analyst

Southfield, MI (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to $101K + Bonus Incentive Potential

Key Accountabilities (Overview)

This role partners closely with both business and IT teams to support initiatives that improve processes, systems, and overall performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to define business needs, problems, and scope
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements
  • Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams
  • Develop deliverables such as user stories and process maps
  • Clarify and manage in-scope vs. out-of-scope requirements
  • Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate solutions and impacts
  • Support vendor selection and RFP processes
  • Assist in test planning and validation of requirements
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts


Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • 5+ years translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience documenting requirements across the full project lifecycle
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • ERP experience, with SAP strongly preferred
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
