The AWS In Rack Power Team is driving rapid innovation in the power systems used by Amazon Web Services. What you will do: we are looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead the development, deployment and sustaining of power equipment, firmware updates, and related initiatives for our next generation data centers in a highly cross-functional environment, which includes internal customers, hardware and software development teams. You'll provide program management leadership in the application of new technologies to enable large scale hardware deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. You'll drive teams inside and outside the organization to deliver complex cross-functional programs with high impact to the organization. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you will work with critical thinking leaders in multiple technology areas. Using data and key metrics, you will drive and measure process improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness. You will work independently in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-changing organization. You'll have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you'll be constantly looking for ways to improve your products performance, quality and cost. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 4+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
