Title: Senior Technical Program Manager

Location: 1 Washington Park, Newark, NJ 07102

Duties: Lead role in managing the delivery of software projects spanning teams and divisions in Audible. Oversee other TPMs on delivering program-level objectives for key strategic areas of Core Engineering. Collaborate to define core business objectives to deliver the best product, program, or project with the most efficient use of company resources. Interact with cross-functional teams across the business to manage multiple projects that have conflicting needs and priorities. Work on projects from concept to launch using an Agile development framework. Conduct requirements analysis and develop technical specifications for software development projects including designing and implementing solutions for multi-tiered systems. Collaborate to define the technical architecture of solutions for services and support technical implementation and integration efforts. Create schedules and communicate project risks, progress, launches and retrospectives across all stakeholders and teams consistently and transparently. Build relationships with partner groups in Audible and Amazon and leverage those relationships to integrate team priorities. Work closely with stakeholders and product managers to ensure that requirements are holistic. Subsequently drive the execution (plan, coordinate, manage) of software development from design through successful deployment. Proactively assess for risks in projects and drive subsequent mitigation. Communicate with senior management and cross-organizational leadership regarding complex project management. Position is fixed location based in Newark, NJ office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

- Managing advanced cross functional technology projects

- Optimizing cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery.

Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of experience.

Salary: $261,248/year. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
