About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks Sr Technical Program Manager 2 in San Jose, CA
What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Design each piece of an application or a system and plan how the pieces will work together. Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing. Document every aspect of an application or a system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software. Lead and track the success of all initiative program objectives by working with key business partners including Business Strategy, Payments Partnerships, Operations, Risk Owners, Product, Engineering and cross-functional partners and initiative owners to enable optimized and new payments and financial services features and capabilities. Partner with business and product stakeholders to define goals, strategy, and roadmaps, and coordinating dependencies across organization. Create and update roadmaps, project plans and schedules to coordinate all activities, by way of milestones, emerging issues, change requests, resource requirements, dependencies, and time constraints. Drive operational excellence by ensuring successful delivery of projects against strategic priorities. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Project Management Tools: Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project for planning, tracking, and executing programs.
2. Agile and Scrum Methodologies: Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies to streamline development processes.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Use advanced Excel functions and JIRA to analyze complex datasets and create dashboards and reports that support decision-making processes
4. Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and architectural documentation to ensure clarity and alignment.
5. Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Experience with SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
6. APIs and Integration Management: Manage APIs and integration, working with RESTful APIs and conducting integration testing to facilitate seamless cross-functional system communication.
7. Risk and Issue Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while resolving critical issues promptly to keep projects on track.
Salary: $181,293.00-245,100.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additional Details
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
