Full Job Description

Your New Role…

As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our world-class streaming and digital platforms. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for key technology domains, partnering with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to define strategy, prioritize investments, and deliver innovative experiences to fans around the world. This role sits at the intersection of technology and entertainment, and is central to WBD's mission of delivering the world's most compelling content through best-in-class digital products.

It is an essential function of this position that the work be performed partially from the Company's offices, as effective collaboration with cross-functional engineering leads, design directors, and senior business stakeholders requires in-person alignment to accelerate critical product decisions and maintain organizational momentum.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Define and execute a multi-quarter product roadmap for assigned platform domains (e.g., streaming infrastructure, personalization, content delivery, or user experience), aligning stakeholders across engineering, business, and executive leadership to ensure strategic coherence and timely delivery.
  • Serve as the primary product voice and decision-maker for your domain, translating complex technical architectures and business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications—including PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria—that enable engineering teams to deliver with precision and velocity.
  • Drive rigorous, data-informed product decisions by defining and monitoring key performance indicators, conducting A/B tests, and synthesizing user research, competitive intelligence, and market trends to continuously optimize product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery by facilitating agile ceremonies, managing sprint planning, resolving technical blockers, and communicating proactively with stakeholders on milestones, risks, and trade-offs to ensure commitments are met on time and within scope.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, platform capabilities, and industry trends relevant to WBD's digital ecosystem, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership that drive innovation and maintain competitive differentiation.
  • Mentor and develop junior product managers and associate PMs, establishing clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the product organization

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Required: 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead TPM role at a technology company, media organization, or consumer platform; demonstrated history of successfully launching and scaling complex digital products.
  • Required: Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with software engineering teams on cloud-native architectures, API design, streaming protocols (e.g., HLS, DASH), or platform scalability; experience translating technical constraints into actionable product decisions.
  • Required: Proficiency with agile development methodologies and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Productboard or equivalent), coupled with strong analytical skills and experience using data platforms such as Amplitude, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Preferred: Background in streaming media, entertainment, or consumer technology with exposure to content management systems, CDNs, digital rights management (DRM), personalization engines, or recommendation systems.
  • Preferred: Exceptional executive communication skills with experience building compelling narratives for C-suite and VP-level audiences; proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization and drive alignment without direct authority.
