Full Job Description
The Role + Purpose

We're seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to lead fit excellence and technical development across men's knits. This role independently manages the complete fit process while ensuring design aesthetic is translated into accurate, manufacturable garments that meet deadlines and quality standards. You'll serve as the technical expert, mentoring teams and driving innovation in garment construction while maintaining seamless communication with global partners.
  • Lead independent fit sessions and process management, resolving complex fit issues across multiple product categories
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate garment development that meets aesthetic vision while maintaining technical feasibility
  • Manage comprehensive technical documentation by developing and editing tech packs, documenting fit comments, specs, and bill of materials
  • Provide innovative solutions for fit challenges through expert evaluation of fit problems on live models and pattern adjustments
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards by organizing and maintaining detailed data history for samples and patterns
  • Coordinate information flow for fit processes including sample tracking, tech log updates, and factory communications
  • Communicate technical expertise effectively with vendors, merchants, production teams, and design stakeholders


Qualifications

Required:
  • 7+ years of technical design experience with expertise across multiple product classifications; men's knits experience preferred
  • Knowledge of garment construction methods, structural and decorative trims, and grade rules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, and pattern drafting/draping skills
  • Strong communication abilities and experience working with global vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate fit problems and resolve complex technical challenges independently


Preferred:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Fashion Design, or related field
  • PLM system experience is a plus, but not required

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $111,700.00
