Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Sr. Technical Consultant, Construction Claims to join our team!

Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and documenting construction claims, contractual issues, delays, and project impacts. The role requires strong skills in data analysis, contract review, project documentation, and professional correspondence and letter drafting.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Analyze construction claims, change orders, costs, schedules, delays, and project impacts.
  • Review contracts, subcontracts, specifications, amendments, and project records to assess contractual entitlement.
  • Perform data analysis using project cost, schedule, and quantity information.
  • Review and organize project documentation, including RFIs schedules, meeting minutes, invoices, and correspondences.
  • Develop claim timelines, chronologies, summaries, and supporting exhibits.
  • Draft professional claim letters, notices, contractual correspondence, and responses
  • Prepare presentations and supporting materials to clearly communicate and substantiate the project's position.
  • Identify risks, inconsistencies, gaps, and potential claim issues within project records.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations summarizing claim findings and analysis.
  • Support negotiations, dispute resolution, and claim strategy development.
  • Collaborate with executive managers, project managers, contract administrators, engineers, schedulers, and legal teams.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Contract Management, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years in construction management, claims management, or a related role.
  • Experience in construction claims, construction administration, project controls, construction management, cost analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and project documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data-analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to review, interpret, and summarize contractual language.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and document organization skills.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of information and identify relevant facts and relationships.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
