Position Title: Sr. Tax Analyst

Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

McCain's Tax team is hiring a Senior Analyst to support our Transfer Pricing team. The Senior Analyst, Transfer Pricing will have opportunities in developing a broad corporate tax experience, while working on cross-functional projects and providing support to other members of McCain's Corporate Tax team.

This role will involve assisting and supporting McCain's global transfer pricing compliance, managing McCain's intercompany policies, assisting with government tax audits and other general corporate tax compliance and planning work or projects as required.

How You'll Drive Value:

  • Prepare and file on a timely basis Public and Private Country-by-Country Reporting, Master File and Local Files globally, ensuring compliance with OECD guidance and local regulations.
  • Leverage technology including automation tools to prepare service fee calculations and associated transfer pricing documentation.
  • Prepare and timely filing of local country information returns reporting related party transactions on a global basis.
  • Assist with researching and preparing responses to government tax audits globally.
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of notice of objections, Competent Authority requests for double tax relief and any Advance Pricing Arrangements.
  • Research and support McCain's transfer pricing positions for the annual external audit of our consolidated financial statements.
  • Research and analyze various ad hoc transactional transfer pricing tax situations.
  • Assist the tax planning and tax compliance functions from time to time.


About You:

  • Post-secondary degree preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Accounting designation is required
  • Very strong analytical and writing skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
  • A team player and problem solver who achieves results by collaboratively working with people
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of common computer applications (direct experience working with accounting / ERP system an asset) and eager to learn and use new technologies/applications (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, AI tools)


Other preferred / desired qualifications:

  • Corporate tax or transfer pricing experience
  • Related experience in preparation of transfer pricing documentation including Local Files, Master Files and benchmarking analyses
  • Working knowledge of the OECD's Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administrations, and Canadian transfer pricing legislation and administrative guidance


Compensation Package : $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
