Job Description
Sr. Systems Engineer supporting the NETCOM Army Enterprise Management of worldwide network capabilities. The AMEN team is responsible for ensuring a suite of equipment performing firewall functions, intrusion detection and prevention, enterprise management and a host of additional network security capabilities is operational and optimized for todays threats.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of performing systems engineering for a department of defense agency Prior experience working with enterprise level virtual environments, specifically using VMware
- Prior experience supporting a large Enterprise Management deployment (Active directory, Large scale logging and event management)
- Prior experience interfacing directly with the government customer.
- Must be able to produce executive technical briefings and recommendations
- Strong understanding of Network fundamentals
- Must be 8570 compliant
- Active Secret clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience or understanding of the Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS)
- Advanced systems engineering certification (Microsoft, VMware, Etc)
- Experience with Riverbed Tool Suite Prior NETCOM experience
