Job DescriptionTitle: Sr. Systems Engineer (Quality Engineering)
Duties: The Sr. Systems Engineer (Quality Engineering) will lead and oversee the SAP testing team in planning, executing, and managing comprehensive testing strategies for SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements for Record to Report and Order to Cash modules; collaborate across teams to understand requirements, coordinate appropriate test environments; and develop test strategies. You will write, review, and maintain test automation scripts using Tricentis automation tools for SAP modules across different test environments; advise project teams on testing approaches for delivered products, including test tool sets; and perform business application functional system integration (end-to-end) tests for new and existing applications. You will handle data migration projects with comprehensive test plan; oversee processes for identifying, tracking, and reporting test results; and find, track, and prioritize defects and resolutions. The Sr. Systems Engineer will define, track and improve quality assurance metrics; review and approve project deliverables; and act as an SME on SAP testing best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related and 8 years of quality engineering experience, including:
- Full SDLC and QA methodologies, including SAP Finance functional testing, end-to-end testing, automation, regression, UAT and usability testing
- Comprehensive knowledge of Testing Life Cycle and Defect Management processes
- SAP, Jira, Selenium, SoapUI, Postman, RestAssured, Jenkins, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines
- Java, SQL, Unix, and related scripting languages
- Expertise in Test Data Management and Agile delivery frameworks
- Coordinate Test activities with business users, developers, functional consultants, project managers and presenting test status, risks, and quality metrics to senior management
