ACCELERATING YOUR FUTURE

The Supply Chain Specialist is focused on managing raw material inventory in accordance with the demand forecast to maintain an uninterrupted supply for production operations and new project implementation. The Supply Chain Specialist is also responsible for Chain of Identity and Chain of Custody of starting materials and manufactured products.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Lead material planning and inventory management across a multi-product facility for multiple client programs, ensuring material availability to support site operations, manufacturing and testing schedules.
  • Develop and maintain inventory strategies across multiple products and clients, balancing demand, lead times, safety stock, minimum/maximum levels, shelf life, and supply constraints.
  • Evaluate material requirements and establish appropriate safety stock levels and reorder points based on demand forecasts, production plans, client commitments, and overall supply strategy.
  • Manage purchases in alignment with consolidated demand forecasts and supply plans, ensuring sufficient material availability to support multiple concurrent manufacturing programs and prevent production interruptions.
  • Monitor material demand across multiple products and client programs, identifying competing requirements, potential shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks.
  • Establish redundant or contingency supply strategies for critical raw materials.
  • Generate and maintain client-facing MRP reports that provide visibility into material requirements, inventory status, supply coverage, and potential risks across assigned programs.
  • Escalate cross product and cross client supply constraints, competing material requirements, and other business critical issues to management, providing recommendations and supporting data to facilitate prioritization and decision-making.
  • Lead material assessments and onboarding activities to support Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, product lifecycle management, and new product introduction (NPI) across multiple client programs.
  • Manage master data management activities within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring accurate material, BOM, and planning data across products and client programs.
  • Manage and Execute batch creation, production order management, and scheduling activities for multiple products and client programs, including associated in-process material orders, while maintaining alignment with the overall site production plan.
  • Coordinate material requirements across concurrent production campaigns and client programs, identifying dependencies and proactively resolving conflicts to support on-time execution.
  • Manage Chain of Identity (CoI) requirements for autologous and donor match therapies and Chain of Custody (CoC) activities for products and materials across applicable client programs.
  • Author, revise, and maintain SOPs, batch records, change controls, protocols, training materials, and other controlled documents supporting multiple products and client programs.
  • Support capacity and production planning by evaluating material availability and constraints across the broader product and client portfolio.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning processes, inventory optimization, supply continuity, prioritization, and execution across a multi-product, multi-client environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-8 years of experience in biopharmaceuticalor cell and gene therapy / Supply Chain
• Experience using ERP/MRP system preferred.
• Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate concisely and in a timely manner to clients' requests.
• Experience with industry regulations, GMP, compliance and pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology processes
• Understand supply chain concepts.
• Excellent MS Office and MS Project skills or equivalent
• Autonomous and works under minimal direction.
• Knowledge and understanding of biopharmaceutical supply chain preferred.
• Prior experience in a multiproduct manufacturing site and/or contract manufacturing environment preferred
