Sr Supply Chain Ops Analyst

Work Mode: Onsite

Location:Onsite four days per week - Kohler Wisconsin US

Opportunity

The SeniorAnalyst role focuses on product lifecycle management for specific productcategories, serving as a key member of the New Product Development (NPD)cross-functional operations team. The analyst ensures successful planning andexecution of new product launches and supports strategic business objectivesacross multiple functional areas. Responsibilities include managing supplychain policy related to product placement, lifecycle changes, master datamanagement, and product discontinuation within complex, global supply chains.The role also involves providing analytics to support decision-making, riskmitigation, and business rationale within the product team.
  • Define and communicate supply chain design andpolicy for assigned product categories, gathering expert-level knowledge toalign with strategic business goals.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, andSourcing leaders to develop product placement plans for components and finishedgoods, covering sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution planning acrossregional and global networks, aiming for optimal supply chain structurebalancing speed, flexibility, and cost.
  • Analyze supply base capacity and timing withregional teams to establish optimal supply chain design and project timelines.
  • Facilitate plan alignment and action withinteams, maintaining progress and customer delivery schedules.
  • Manage stock levels to minimize unnecessaryscrapping due to component obsolescence from changes.
  • Establish and oversee lifecycle changepolicies, including phase-in/phase-out timing, master data maintenance, anddisposal coordination to balance business needs.
  • Identify cost-to-serve options to optimizeprofitability and customer delivery, gaining business team alignment.
  • Analyze new material additions/releases formaster data compliance.
  • Document processes, establish performancemetrics, and identify opportunities for process improvement.


Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain orEngineering.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in Supply Chain, with a focus onproduct lifecycle, materials change management, or engineering change control.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and self-motivation tomanage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Proficient project management skills, with effective written and oralcommunication within cross-functional teams.
  • Computer proficiency including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerBI and SAP.
  • Product knowledge is advantageous for effective communication acrossmanagement and staff levels.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
