Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and qualify current and potential suppliers of electronic and satellite components.
• Lead suppliers through resolving discrepancies, including corrective and preventive actions as well as recovery plans.
• Support program reviews with key suppliers to ensure understanding of long-term business objectives.
• Communicate supplier performance to senior management.
• Participate in supplier quality audits, hardware acceptance and corrective actions.
• Onboarding and qualify new suppliers.
• Drive nonconformance reduction through root cause analysis and corrective action

Qualifications:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in either engineering, science or manufacturing processes.
• 10+ years' industry experience in Quality.
• 5+ years specific to satellite manufacturing.
• Relevant experience in AS9100/AS9120 auditing.
• Relevant experience with electronic components.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time and have a valid driver's license.
• Self-directed with strong time management skills.
• Ability to maintain strong alignment with leadership and operational stakeholders in a remote environment.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Knowledge of IPC Class 3 Standards

Desired:

• 15+ years in Aerospace Quality experience and 10+ years in satellite manufacturing
• IPC Class 3 certification
• Relevant experience in transitioning a product from development, through production to operations.
• American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification

Base Pay Range for:
CA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25WA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25
