What You'll Do- Lead vibration/NVH measurement and experimental modal analysis for precision mechatronic hardware.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot dynamic performance issues using advanced instrumentation.
- Develop and validate structural and dynamic models to interpret vibration test results and guide system improvements.
- Apply model-based analysis to predict and optimize system-level dynamic response.
- Collaborate with controls, mechanical, software, and optics teams to resolve vibration-related challenges.
- Support error budgeting, customer requirements, and design reviews with a focus on dynamic performance.
- Document test plans, measurement results, and troubleshooting actions for multi-site engineering teams.
What You Bring- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with vibration measurement, modal testing, and dynamic troubleshooting in high-performance mechatronics systems.
- Strong foundation in structural dynamics, vibrations, and control-system modeling.
- Proficiency with MATLAB or Python for data analysis, signal processing, and visualization.
- Experience performing finite element analysis (FEA) to support vibration studies.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as dictated by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications- Background in high-precision motion systems, machine dynamics, or semiconductor equipment.
- Experience integrating vibration models and measurement data into controls or system-level design workflows.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with a passion for hands-on experimentation and troubleshooting.
Minimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
Base Pay Range: $120,700.00 - $205,200.00 Annually
