Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Sourcing & Contracting
- Lead contract negotiations and supplier engagements across multiple business functions.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure strong contract governance, compliance, and commercial outcomes.
- Build and enhance organizational capabilities in negotiation, sourcing strategy, and supplier management.
CAPEX Commercial Engagements
Planning & Budgeting
- Develop and manage the annual CAPEX budget.
- Partner with business leaders to gather, analyze, and consolidate capital investment requests.
- Prepare multi-year capital investment plans aligned with strategic business objectives.
Project Evaluation & Approval
- Evaluate capital investment proposals utilizing financial metrics including ROI, NPV, IRR, and Payback Period.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions.
- Develop business cases and investment justifications for management approval.
- Ensure adherence to established approval authority processes.
Monitoring & Control
- Track actual versus budgeted CAPEX expenditures and identify variances.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to maintain spending discipline.
- Maintain CAPEX tracking tools, registers, and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor project milestones and investment progress.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare monthly and quarterly CAPEX reports for senior leadership.
- Provide spending forecasts, project status updates, and budget utilization analyses.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders, finance committees, and leadership teams as required.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all CAPEX activities comply with company policies, financial controls, and governance requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation for capital investments.
- Support post-implementation reviews (PIRs) and investment performance assessments.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with procurement, finance, engineering, operations, and business leaders to align sourcing strategies with organizational priorities.
- Establish and lead supplier performance management programs, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Drive supplier innovation, operational improvements, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Engage external vendors and contractors to support cost estimation and financial planning activities.
Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Champion procurement transformation initiatives and digital adoption efforts.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable, technology-enabled solutions.

Preferred Experience- Industry experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, contracting, or related commercial functions.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Experience managing CAPEX planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and investment evaluation processes.
- Strong understanding of supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Experience with procurement and sourcing technologies such as Ariba, Jaggaer, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Proven success leading transformation, change management, or digital procurement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed, or technology-driven environment is preferred.
Academic Credentials- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CPM, PMP, or equivalent are a plus.
