Your Role and Impact

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations. In this role, you will ensure the integrity of the general ledger, spearhead month-end and year-end closing cycles, and maintain accuracy across all balance sheet accounts. Additionally, you will manage Accounts Payable functions with a specific focus on cash-system transactions and leverage AI tools to drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting. You will also lead or assist in finance/accounting projects that support senior management's decision-making.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance of the General Ledger and Accounts Payable functions, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and that financial data is accurate.
  • Lead the month-end closing process to ensure timely financial reporting. Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information for monthly reports and financial analysis.
  • Analyze significant variances and provide insights to senior management.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules and work papers and perform FS / TB / GL line and specific account detail reconciliations.

  • Manage and reconcile daily cash transactions. Monitor bank balances and oversee cash-system transaction workflows within AP and AR.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows to improve data integrity and reporting speed.
  • Perform additional accounting/finance projects and analyses assigned.


Your Profile

  • 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite), advanced Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience with inventory and cost management and cycle counts is a plus.

  • Office Presence: Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days local offsite
