Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, with 15+ years of experience in spring probes or contact technologies.
• Strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, physics, and manufacturing processes, including GD&T and ANSI/ASME standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and design software like SolidWorks.
• Ability to conduct engineering analyses and simulations, including thermal and structural FEA.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor industries and contact technologies.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, FMEA, and advanced engineering analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Research new materials and technologies applicable to spring probes and contacts.
• Develop new spring probes and contacts from concept through to customer evaluation.
• Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams.
• Conduct training sessions for design and development engineers.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design guidelines.
• Participate in task forces to address key technical challenges as needed.
• Conduct initial analyses and simulations to verify new concepts.
