  • Prevent order disruptions through inventory issue management and standardization
  • Resolve open order issues by analyzing trends and collaborating with customers
  • Advocate for customers and ensure rapid resolution of issues across departments
  • Track and report key performance indicators monthly
  • Build long-term trusted relationships to support account retention and growth.

Full Job Description
What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health:

Account Management is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity. Provides product service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee assigned Medical Products and Distribution customer(s) as it pertains to supply chain health and general service needs
  • Bridge relationships between the customer's supply chain team and internal Cardinal Health teams to ensure flawless service
  • Support customer expectations and requirements through proactive account reviews, and regular engagement and review of key initiatives
  • Prevent order disruption to customer through activities such as: elimination of potential inventory issues, substitution maintenance, core list review, and product standardization and conversions
  • Resolve open order issues by reviewing open order and exception reports, analyzing trends, and partnering with customer to take alternative actions as needed.
  • Advocate for customer and partner across Cardinal Health servicing teams to bring rapid and effective resolution to customer's issues, requests and initiatives
  • Track, measure, and report key performance indicators monthly
  • Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with customer to support retention and growth of the account

Anticipated salary range: $71,300.00 - $102,000.00
