AWS is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Media & Entertainment, Games and Sports (MEGS) Industry Business Unit. You'll support the Corporate Enterprise Technology and Data organization of one of the world's largest entertainment companies as part of a dedicated AWS Account team.
You will be responsible for educating customers, partners, and internal stakeholders on emerging technologies and solutions that are transforming the M&E, Games, and Sports industries. You'll provide hands-on architectural guidance and design technical solutions that include AWS services, open-source, and Independent Software Vendor (ISV)/partners. You'll work with customers remotely and in person, sharing your expertise and insights. This role involves domestic and potential international travel.
Key job responsibilities
- Architect and deliver innovative, customer-obsessed solutions leveraging AWS services and partner offerings to modernize business-critical enterprise and shared-services workloads on AWS.
- Engage with customers, partners, and industry events to inspire and educate on the transformative potential of AWS solutions, and drive thought leadership.
- Build trusted relationships across corporate IT, security, and vendor-management leadership to strengthen strategic partnerships and inform multi-cloud governance.
- Create architectural guidance, demos, POCs, and executive presentations that accelerate cloud adoption.
- Educate IT operations, reliability engineering, and security teams on AWS and GenAI capabilities.
- Communicate clearly on data center consolidation, FinOps, security, and lifecycle automation, positioning AWS as the platform of choice for lowering TCO and improving operational agility.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in academic or professional settings
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Experience leading large enterprise transformations with AWS/cloud services
- Knowledge of production agentic AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and enterprise deployment patterns.
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
