Job Summary:

Supermicro embedded team is looking for Sr. Solutions Manager to grow and expand the business opportunities of in-house embedded solutions with customers. Your goal is to engage, develop, and expand our customer portfolio in the edge computing and embedded/IoT solutions. In this role, you will be representing Supermicro in major trade shows and conferences to network and meet with clients, and further developing the opportunity pipelines. You will also participate in products and solutions design, ensure new products incorporated the expectations and requirements from customers to increase business opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Work with management to set customer acquisition and revenue growth targets
• Develop and execute customer acquisition plans with various teams as necessary
• Collaborate with various teams as suitable within the organizations to secure (acquire/retain) customers
• Support pre-sales engagement by lead cross-functional teams to design solution proposals to influence and win customer
• Build and maintain a network of business relationships, including the executives of clients, prospects, and other resources
• Create solutions with vertical market focus, from proof of concept to market solutions
• Manage solution integration projects from design to delivery, act as escalation point for solutions and sales teams
• Work with sales and marketing teams to ensure product roadmaps and solutions are competitive in the market
• Ensure customer overall satisfaction, collaborate with internal teams to timely resolve clients' issues
• Provide product trainings to internal teams, sales teams, partners and customers
• Provide marketing and technological feedback to inform solution and product roadmap
• Collaborate with strategic channel and technology partners to drive solutions promotion and customer acquisition
• Collaborate with internal/marketing teams to generate demand and drive revenue
• Train and promote solutions and new product to sales, marketing and partner

Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experiences. MBA is highly preferable
• 8+ years of experience in business development or promoting embedded solutions, IPC, or server/computer hardware products solutions
• Highly familiar with embedded system based on 2.5" SBC, 3.5" SBC, Mini ITX, uATX, ATX, E-ATX MB solution for embedded applications
• Prior experience working with tier 1 and/or tier 2 OEM's, broad experience across product management, product marketing, sales, and business development roles
• Solid communication skills in both verbal and written, able to communicate with C-level clients effectively
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and marketing skills
• Strong executive presence with a track record of winning mid to large clients/business

Salary Range

$150,000 - $175,000
