Position SummaryJob Description: We are looking for a Java Developer responsible for API development and relational database integration. Your primary focus will be to develop functionality and features in a specialty Enteral Nutrition ecosphere system, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability. You will work in a fast-paced environment for a growing business. You will work in a team with back-end developers supporting all phases of the Enteral Nutrition line of business. A thorough understanding of all of the components of application development, life cycle, compliance, security, and infrastructure is required.Responsibilities- Supporting a custom in-house Java application that will be used by technicians and business staff to process patient referral and documentation for related activities.
- Ensuring high performance on backend applications.
- Application and environment vulnerability tracking and remediation.
- Environment and software upgrades.
- Design, code, test and document Java APIs.
Required Qualifications- Extensive experience in Java 7/8 SE (5+ years)
- Experience with an ORM framework such as JPA or Hibernate (5+ years)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks Junit or Mockito (5+ years)
- Experience with Spring Boot (2+ years)
- Experience with Microservices development (2+ years)
- Experience with Maven/Gradle
- Professional, precise communication skills
- Experience in API designing, troubleshooting, and tuning for performance
Preferred Qualifications- Basic AIX/ Unix experience.
- Java 7/8 OCA or OCP is preferred.
- UI development experience (Angular 2+)
- GitHub technology
- Azure Cloud
- Consul Service Discovery and Configuration.
- WSO2
- SSL and JSON Web tokens knowledge is preferred
- Zuul proxy Server.
- Cucumber or equivalent tool
- Feature branching or continuous integration practices
- Experience working with JAVA API interactions with Oracle RDMS is preferred.
- Experience in health care or pharmacy related industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with RDBMS SQL Developer tools
EducationBS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent disciplines or equivalent experience.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $185,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
