Position Description:

We are seeking a Sr. SDET/Quality Engineer to join our Software Engineering practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing automation frameworks and partnering with engineering to prevent defects from leaking into production. Communication/collaboration will be key in this role, as well as strong API testing experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and testing needs.
. Enhance existing automation frameworks and design new frameworks as required.
. Perform front-end and API testing, using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
. Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile testing practices within the team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
. 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.
. Expertise in automation testing using tools such as Cypress (preferred), Selenium, and Playwright.
. Proficiency in creating and maintaining test frameworks and scripts.
. Experience working in an Agile environment.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $176,300.00.
