This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

As a scheduler with the Mission Management and Integration team, you will play an important role in planning and schedule execution for the Lunar Permanence business unit as part of humanity's return to the moon. Reporting to the Program Management Office, you will be responsible for supporting the creation and management of integrated schedules in Primavera P6, working across IPTs, external partners, and business units to execute and measure program objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the development of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and detailed IPT-level schedules.
  • Engage cross-functionally with external partners and business units to identify and align schedule requirements and dependencies, driving clarity and accountability across teams.
  • Drive execution by coordinating status updates, collecting and integrating schedule performance data, performing regular forecast updates, and providing actionable schedule reporting.
  • Generate actionable metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and schedule reporting artifacts to inform IPT leaders and influence future schedule updates.
  • Drive assigned areas to execute and ensure accountability for schedule performance, proactively mitigating roadblocks beyond input collection and reporting.
  • Implement effective change management to account for approved scope changes, actively vetting schedule forecast updates for accuracy and realism.
  • Support and lead initiatives aimed at driving maturity in schedule processes, tools, and reporting across the program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience in program scheduling in a highly complex, technical industry
  • Broad and deep scheduling and planning skillset, spanning from detailed task-level scheduling to integrated program-level planning
  • Proficiency using Primavera (P6), Open Plan, MS Project, or comparable software
  • Schedule management expertise including baselining, reforecasting, variance analysis, and schedule-change management, with a robust understanding of best practices and experience implementing them across a variety of business environments
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain a fully networked Integrated Master Schedule from scratch
  • Skilled in developing schedule reports and analysis of KPIs as well the ability to establish priority and key schedule relationship identification, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving schedule outcomes, beyond tracking and reporting data
  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic development environments with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills in technical work environments, including executive communication
  • Demonstrated success mentoring and developing less experienced planners and program teams, ability to lead with influence across multiple teams while earning trust, maintaining positive professional relationships, and contributing to a culture of inclusion
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, project management or other highly analytical field
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • Experience in the aerospace industry and/or R&D environment, with experience supporting Human Spaceflight programs highly desirable
  • Experience working with government contracts
  • Experience in integrating IMS with ERP systems
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, including large language models and AI agents


Base Pay Range for:
CO applicants is $123,611.00 - $173,054.70WA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25
