Full Job Description
Responsible for the design, governance, and optimization of Salesforce data architecture across the enterprise-spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integrated downstream data platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Salesforce data modeling, cross-platform integration design, and enterprise data governance, with a strong commitment to data quality, platform stability, and controlled change management. This role reports to the Senior Delivery Manager or Director of AI, Data & Analytics and collaborates closely with Salesforce administrators, data engineers, enterprise architects, platform operations teams, and business stakeholders across commercial, service, and field operations functions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Deep expertise in Salesforce data modeling, object design, field governance, record types, sharing architecture, and platform data management across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. - Proven experience designing and governing Salesforce integrations with enterprise platforms including SAP, Azure-based data warehouses, or equivalent ERP and analytics systems. - Strong proficiency with Salesforce integration technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, Bulk API, Change Data Capture, Platform Events, MuleSoft, or Azure Data Factory. - Demonstrated expertise in enterprise data governance: data quality management, data lineage, metadata management, MDM, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOX). Who we are looking for EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field; Master's preferred. - 8+ years of progressive enterprise data architecture or data engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce data architecture in large-scale enterprise deployments. - Salesforce certifications required: Salesforce Certified Data Architect (or Application Architect / System Architect credential). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce architecture documentation, governance artifacts, and executive presentations of high professional quality.
