Full Job Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Shared Services Org (SSO) is seeking a Sales Strategy & Execution Lead to drive sales strategy, systems optimization, and cross-functional program execution - with a primary focus on the Greenfield Sales (GF) organization and additional support across Strategic Pursuits and Business Contracts. This role enables a high-growth sales team responsible for new customer acquisition and pipeline generation across global public sector markets.

As a Sales Strategy & Execution Lead, you will partner directly with Greenfield Sales leadership to help enable the team to grow and accelerate pipeline. You will support SFDC/CRM strategy for, drive operational rigor through various execution functions, and ensure teams have the tooling, data, and support needed to succeed. You will also support cross-SSO initiatives spanning Strategic Pursuits and Business Contracts, ensuring consistency and scalability of mechanisms across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines CRM/sales expertise with strategic business acumen, has experience supporting high-velocity sales motions, thrives in ambiguous environments requiring cross-organizational influence, and has a track record of building systems and programs that drive measurable, org-wide impact.

Key job responsibilities

Greenfield Support & Enablement

- Serve as partner to Greenfield Sales leadership, supporting mechanisms, systems, and data that enable AEs to execute and hit targets.

- Help enable the GF team to grow and accelerate pipeline through tooling, data quality, and process optimization.

- Enable various execution and operations functions (forecast reviews, MBRs, SIFT reviews, Flash Calls) that drive accountability and connect field activity to business outcomes.

SFDC/CRM Support & Operations

- Support SFDC/CRM strategy and operations for the SSO, contributing to data standards and reporting architecture that enable accurate forecasting.

- Partner with central SFDC teams to scope and deliver system enhancements and automation that improve field productivity.

- Support data governance policies ensuring CRM hygiene and alignment between systems of record

Strategy Development & Cross-SSO Execution

- Develop cross-organizational strategies aligning sales operations with GF business objectives

- Lead strategic planning initiatives, synthesizing data to identify opportunities, risks, and resource allocation recommendations for leadership.

- Facilitate strategy alignment across Strategic Pursuits, Greenfield Sales, and Business Contracts.

Business Performance Management & Analytics

- Facilitate KPIs measuring GF sales effectiveness including pipeline generation, conversion rates, AE productivity, and growth velocity.

- Influence/Build executive-level dashboards (QuickSight, AWS Insights) providing real-time visibility into GF performance.

- Develop predictive analytics informing forecasting, capacity planning, and growth projections.

Stakeholder Management & Growth Enablement

- Serve as the primary strategy and execution partner to GF leadership and Sales Ops, translating strategic direction into operational plans.

- Lead joint business planning and present strategies to senior leadership for GF growth initiatives.

- Influence without authority across multiple organizations; develop scalable processes driving efficiency across the SSO portfolio.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- 5+ years of professional or military experience

- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

- 5+ years of in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling workforce development programs across large-scale operations, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

- Experience working with Business Application Technologies, including, but not limited to End User Compute (EUC), Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services

- Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
