What You Will Do

As the Sr. Sales Manager - Away From Home, you will be responsible for driving growth across key non-traditional retail channels, with a strong focus on convenience stores and sporting goods retailers like Dick's Sporting Goods, Five Below and Academy, to name a few. You'll also expand our presence in colleges and universities, hotels, and airports. You'll manage relationships with key accounts, distributors, and brokers to execute against JOYRIDE's expansion strategy in these channels. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, you'll play a critical role in developing our presence and performance outside of the grocery aisle.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow business across away-from-home channels: C-stores, specialty retailers, hotels, colleges, and travel/hospitality outlets.
  • Own the P&L for the away from home channel.
  • Build and manage relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Support development and execution of sales strategies, promotional plans, and pricing tailored to each channel.
  • Work closely with broker partners to secure new distribution and improve retail execution.
  • Leverage sales data, industry insights, and customer feedback to drive decisions and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Lead account presentations, manage promotional planning, and track trade spend ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across operations, marketing, and demand planning to ensure executional alignment.
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as a JOYRIDE brand ambassador.

You're confident with managing broker and distributor relationships, and know how to tailor your sales approach to fit different environments and buyer needs.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years sales experience on the manufacturer/brand side, specifically within the convenience, away-from-home or alternative channels (e.g., convenience, hospitality, specialty retail), with a proven track record in C-stores and/or sporting goods retailers.
  • Experience managing distributors and brokers in the away from home channel.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with a history of growing accounts.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable in a nimble, high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
