Regional Vice President, AI Data Platform & OCI Sales - Canada Public Sector

Oracle is seeking a strategic, customer-focused Sales Director, AI Data Platform & OCI Sales to lead our Canada Public Sector business. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving growth across Canada's Provincial Governments, Ministries, Agencies, and Higher Education institutions by helping customers modernize their technology environments, accelerate AI adoption, and unlock the full value of their data through Oracle's industry-leading cloud platform.

Leading a high-performing team of enterprise sales professionals, you will develop and execute the national go-to-market strategy for Oracle's AI Data Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) portfolio. Working closely with Cloud Engineering, Applications, Consulting, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Alliances, you will help public sector organizations accelerate digital transformation through AI, cloud, and multicloud innovation.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for Oracle's AI Data Platform and OCI business across Canada's Provincial Governments, Ministries, Agencies, and Higher Education institutions.
  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve and exceed bookings, cloud consumption, pipeline, and revenue objectives.
  • Help customers modernize legacy technology environments, consolidate data platforms, migrate mission-critical workloads, and accelerate AI adoption through Oracle's integrated cloud portfolio.
  • Champion Oracle's multicloud strategy by helping customers leverage Oracle's strategic partnerships with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud.
  • Build trusted executive relationships with Deputy Ministers, Assistant Deputy Ministers, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Data Officers (CDOs), Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), university executives, and procurement leaders.
  • Lead strategic account planning, executive engagement, pipeline management, forecasting, and business reviews to ensure disciplined execution and predictable growth.
  • Partner across Applications, Solution Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, Marketing, and Alliances to deliver a unified Oracle strategy and maximize cross-portfolio opportunities.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and cloud ecosystem partners to expand market reach and accelerate customer success.
  • Represent Oracle at executive customer engagements, government forums, higher education conferences, and industry events while serving as executive sponsor for Oracle's most strategic Public Sector customers.

What You'll Bring
  • 12+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, including at least 7 years leading high-performing enterprise sales organizations.
  • Proven success selling cloud infrastructure, AI, data platforms, analytics, databases, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience leading teams responsible for integrated cloud, AI, and data platform sales.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding revenue targets, leading complex enterprise sales cycles, and building high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience engaging executive leaders across provincial governments, ministries, agencies, and higher education institutions.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional leadership, coaching, communication, forecasting, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling into Canadian Public Sector, including Provincial Governments, Ministries, Agencies, or Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, AI, data platforms, analytics, databases, and multicloud architectures.
  • Experience leading cloud modernization, AI transformation, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
  • Established relationships within the Canadian Public Sector ecosystem are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $160,000 to $262,900 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
