We9re hiring a Reservoir Engineer to lead reservoir engineering support for an operating SAGD asset. This role is focused on maximizing resource recovery, sustaining production, and delivering safe, efficient reservoir management. Responsibilities: 3Provide stewardship of subsurface process safety and reservoir management practices 3Develop, maintain, and apply reservoir simulation models to support operational decision-making, optimization opportunities, and future development planning 3Prepare, maintain, and steward production forecasts to support business planning and asset management 3Monitor and interpret reservoir, well, and field performance KPIs to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate performance risks 3Develop and implement reservoir management strategies to optimize bitumen recovery, steam efficiency, and overall asset value 3Assess reservoir performance, conformance, and uncertainty to support strategic planning, reserves evaluation, and investment decisions 3Prepare technical documentation and provide support for regulatory applications, approvals, and compliance requirements 3Collaborate closely with geology, operations, production engineering, drilling, completions, and facilities teams to influence decisions, drive performance improvements, and deliver business results 3Provide reservoir engineering leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to junior engineers and other stakeholders as required Location and other Key details: 3You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W. 3Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs 3Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work Think we are a fit?
