Position OverviewArkema is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Geneseo, NY manufacturing facility. This role serves as the site technical expert for asset reliability, mechanical integrity, asset lifecycle management, and reliability analytics. The successful candidate will drive reliability strategies that improve equipment performance, operational efficiency, safety, and long-term asset sustainability.

Key ResponsibilitiesReliability Leadership & Asset Management- Develop and execute site reliability strategies and asset lifecycle plans.
- Improve equipment availability, reliability, and lifecycle cost performance.
- Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA), FMEA, and bad actor elimination programs.
- Establish reliability KPIs and monitor asset health performance.
- Develop asset replacement strategies and support long-term capital planning.
- Optimize critical spare parts strategies and inventory management.
Mechanical Integrity- Lead the site's Mechanical Integrity program.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee inspection, testing, repair, and integrity assessment programs.
- Support audits, inspections, and equipment integrity investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement of fixed equipment reliability practices.
Reliability Analytics & Digital Systems- Lead predictive maintenance and condition monitoring initiatives.
- Develop and maintain reliability dashboards and performance reporting tools.
- Analyze equipment performance data and failure trends.
- Support SAP asset management and reliability data quality initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement emerging reliability technologies.
Operational Excellence & Process Safety- Support troubleshooting efforts and cross-functional reliability improvement projects.
- Provide reliability expertise for management of change (MOC), capital projects, and startups.
- Participate in process hazard analyses, incident investigations, and safety reviews.
- Promote best practices that improve safety, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in reliability, maintenance, operations, or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles, preventive and predictive maintenance, and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred- Chemical manufacturing experience.
- Professional certifications such as CMRP, API, or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, predictive maintenance technologies, and condition monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of API, ASME, and other applicable mechanical integrity standards.
CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this position is
$96,500 - $127,900 annually plus 10% bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
