  • Support the team in internal and external audits as well as governmental inquiries.

Full Job Description
This position is the first line for providing answers to the field for all types of regulatory questions relating to TETRAC. Liaison with field offices around the globe to resolve governmental inquiries and issues including non-US customs, Food safety organizations, agricultural organizations, wildlife organizations, etc. Researched and responds to governmental inquiries - coordinates responses from field to support responses. Support team in all audits both internal and external.
  • Coordinates and reports on company licenses and permits including TSA, FMC, FMCSA, PHMSA, and others. Including renewals and payments.
  • Coordinates TSA security documents including STAs, KSMS, Inspection reports.
  • Performs SSI (Sensitive Security Information) Activities related to TSA - Cannot describe all tasks in position description.
  • Coordinates creation of RIGHT documents & manages TEAMs site.
  • Manages C-TPAT filings and responses for FTN Brokerage business in conjunction with Security team.
  • Maintains CSM requirements for Liquidated Damages notices and other governmental communication relating to TETRAC group.
  • Defines and maintains new reporting requirements.
  • Reviews DRPS matches manually released by super users in the field.
  • Releases DRPS matches when field is unable to determine if match if false.
  • Manages TETRAC responses to Restricted Commodity Requests.
  • First line for providing answers to the field for all types of regulatory questions relating to TETRAC.
  • Reviews requests for super user access for DRPS and Document Delete in Galaxy.
  • Liaison with field offices around the globe to resolve governmental inquiries and issues including non-US customs, Food safety organizations, agricultural organizations, wildlife organizations, etc.. (Counterparts to US PGAs).
  • Coordinates monthly reporting of team activities.
  • Researched and responds to governmental inquiries - coordinates responses from field to support responses.
  • Support team in all audits and reviews both internal and external (Government facing or not) fields and directs sales and customer inquiries, as appropriate


Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience preferably in business field. Ten (10) years industry experience in 3PL industry preferred. Customs broker's license or CES preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of custom 3PL activity and other government agency regulations, harmonized tariff schedule GLOBAL, general import/export procedures Global, Int'l Transportation regulations (Including SOLAS & Advanced manifests) required, and company's general operating procedures. Demonstrated organizational skills should include leadership, problem solving, and ability to work quickly, accurately and thoroughly with attention to details. Multitasking skills are essential. Adept at communicating effectively in writing, over the phone and in person - including to non-native English speakers. Proficient at resolving complex international regulatory issues through utilization of well-developed analytical, research, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. General understanding of accounting practices and procedures. Strong customer service orientation. Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Office suite of tools and other software programs. Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate/communicate as needed an essential skillset.

Preferred Qualifications: **This role is REMOTE **Candidates MUST reside within a 50 mile radius of one of the following locations: Romulus, Chicago, Atlanta, LA, Dallas, Houston, Boston, & Miami. This is a 1st Shift role hours and days TBD.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current. Starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors. Permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Pay Range: $5,662.27 - $9,342.75 USD Monthly
