Job Description:

As a member of Ryan's Talent Acquisition team, the Senior Recruiter position is responsible for managing all phases of the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and phone screening to hiring manager presentation, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding. This position requires the ability to partner with hiring managers to fill current hiring needs, assist in planning future hiring needs and building strong talent pipelines. Ideal candidates will have experience in the management of a requisition portfolio, providing regular updates as to portfolio status, metrics and solutions for filling requisitions in a timely manner.

Some things you can expect to do:
  • Experience and ability to recruit best in class construction and field talent including project managers, superintendents, estimators, preconstruction, etc.
  • Experience in recruitment sourcing using social media, networking, and industry events to acquire talent as needed for our construction operations.
  • Screen applicants and select candidates for management review.
  • Oversee a requisition portfolio, providing regular progress updates, metrics, and action plans for hiring managers.
  • Create a database of candidates for future positions.
  • Extend offers and gain offer acceptance.
  • Additional duties to include various tracking of U.S. and multi-national labor resources.
  • Manages relationships with external staffing agencies to identify candidates.
  • Attend live and virtual networking events to build talent networks and market the Ryan brand.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement in the areas of Candidate Experience, recruiting best practices and compliance, ensuring all AAP/EEO/DOL and OFCCP rules and regulations are followed.
  • Work with recruiting coordinators throughout the recruiting lifecycle to delegate and leverage their talents with postings, background testing, pre-employment screenings, offer letters and onboarding.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Construction Management, Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience recruiting professionals in Construction.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Must have a collaborative, employee-centric mindset.
  • Proven interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and build partnerships.
  • Autonomous, self-starter who can perform in a dynamic and fluid environment.


Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
