Job Details

The Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement in product quality, reducing the cost of poor quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improve, monitor, and maintain customer quality performance ratings.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret performance and defect data to drive continuous improvements.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface for quality-related inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Lead structured root cause analysis and problem resolution with all cross functions.
  • Conduct process, product, and system audits.
  • Evaluate and disposition nonconforming product, RMAs & verify closure and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections.
  • Prepare and report daily, weekly, and monthly quality metrics.
  • Track corrective actions and improvement initiatives through full implementation and control phases.


Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
  • 5+ years of professional quality experience
  • Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and Minitab.

For California, the salary range for this position is: $80,630 - $137,808 per year
