Full Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Mandatory Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript and/or Python.
• Proven expertise in UI, API, and Database test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to build and maintain scalable automation frameworks/reusable components.
• Exposure to API testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test reporting frameworks.
• Experience with AI-assisted test automation tools or intelligent automation frameworks is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of functional testing, including the ability to:
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute functional, integration, progression, and regression test scenarios.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure complete test coverage.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with a quality-first mindset.

Nice to have Skills :
• Knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
• Experience with Mainframe testing, including validation of legacy applications and integration testing with distributed systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

QA Leadership & Governance
• Lead and manage a team of QA analysts, ensuring effective task allocation and delivery tracking.
• Establish QA governance, standards, and quality benchmarks across projects.

Test Strategy & Execution
• Own the test strategy for manual testing, including scope, approach, tools, and timelines.
• Oversee execution of functional, regression, integration, and system testing activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related activities for business and IT stakeholders.
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and architects to ensure quality alignment with requirements.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
• Perform internal and external quality assurance checks for deliverables.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives in QA practices.

Mentoring & Capability Development
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, enhancing their testing skills and domain knowledge.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the QA team.

Risk & Compliance Management
• Identify testing risks early and provide mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory quality standards (especially relevant for BFSI projects).
