West Software Deployment Team
Job Description

Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services. Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness. Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance. May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Management, or Technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of public safety Project Management experience managing complex deployments and/or software application deployments for State and Local public safety government agencies.
  • Remote position based in the United States.
  • Must be willing to travel (75%).
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Project and similar applications for project schedule planning.
  • Experience with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • PMP Certification
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pass and maintain CJIS Security and Privacy:
  • Privileged Role certification requirements.


This is a remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the US.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
