Project Manager

Department: Project & Engineering
Reporting to: P&E Manager
Direct Reports: No

Purpose

A telecommunications organization is seeking a Project Manager to oversee infrastructure and engineering projects across Alaska. This role is ideal for either:
  • A seasoned telecommunications technician or installer transitioning into management, or
  • An experienced Project Manager seeking variety within the telecom industry

The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of managing teams and workflows, and comfortable in customer-facing environments. Experience with capital projects and project bidding is preferred.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or similar) required
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Experience with capital projects
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar certification preferred (or ability to obtain within one year)
  • Ability to travel to remote locations in Alaska

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
