Full Job Description
Leads a project team in the development and implementation of assigned complex IT projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings. Adheres to all protocols and SLAs related to project tracking and analysis. Creates and maintains an IT project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status, and resource allocation adhering to change management protocols to keep project on budget and scope. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and deliverables. Provides high level technical and analytical guidance to project team to ensure all processes are carried out to plan. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Ensures documentation is prepared and maintained. May also be assigned to lead or coordinate other department initiatives (IT department's regulatory compliance and preparedness efforts, liaison support for both internal and external audits, development of IT-related policies and procedures by appropriate IT staff). This role requires three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families Hospital. Education Bachelor's Degree Required Master's Degree Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 5 years experience and working knowledge of health system administrative and clinical applications Required 5 years experience in a healthcare/hospital environment Required 5 years experience working in a project management environment Required General Experience and knowledge of health care information technology Required 3 to 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure project management experience, specifically managing data center build-outs, colocation, cloud migrations, or network upgrades Highly Preferred Core Technical Competencies
  • Networking: Understanding of routing, switching, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto), DNS, and network topology.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with deploying hybrid or native cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and SDLC methodologies.
  • Datacenter Hardware: Knowledge of server virtualization (e.g., VMware vSphere), SAN/NAS storage, structured cabling, and hardware
