The Sr. Program Manager- System Facilities Management and Sustainability will assist the Director - System Facilities Management and Security and is accountable for the implementation of the portfolio of projects aligned to support management of the Aspirus Facilities Management and Sustainability programs.
This role will provide strategic guidance to develop efficient strategies and tactics while overseeing the progress of program projects. This role will interface and communicate with senior executives, project stakeholders, and appropriate board bodies on applicable matters to deliver the project objectives on time and within budget.
In addition, this role provides program management support for all operational programs of the hospitals and outlying buildings including, but not limited to, Plant Operations, Grounds and Landscaping, Security, Safety and Emergency Management programs, Liaison for Clinical Engineering, and Joint Commission standards responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner.
HOURS: 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every two weeks.
Experience/Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of associated engineering experience* preferably in a healthcare setting, or
- Associate Degree from an accredited college or university, plus fifteen (15) years of associated engineering experience* preferably in a healthcare setting, or
- Knowledge and ability to effectively utilize project portfolio management tools and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible experience in Facilities Management, Security, Environment of Care, Emergency Management, or a related field required.
- Five to Ten years' relevant project management experience preferred.
