Full Job Description
Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing New Product Development (NPD) and/or Market Expansion projects in a molecular in-vitro diagnostic context, with the objective to deliver projects, on time and within budget, that meet business objectives and customer needs.

This position is part of the Program Management Office (PMO) and will be located onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Drive project execution excellence using best-practice methodologies embedded in the Danaher Business System (DBS).
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery through compliant IVD/IVDR design controls, clear metrics, and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Establish tracking, reporting, and resource capacity planning to enable timely decisions and keep teams aligned to milestones.
  • Translate global strategy into action by balancing short- and long-term priorities while removing roadblocks to program success.
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders and stakeholders to enable capability building, culture change, and continuous improvement across the PMO and product development lifecycle.


The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's preferred, in Science, Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience leading product development in the medical device industry specifically within Molecular Diagnostics Product Development.
  • Track record of success bringing products to commercialization in a regulated environment (US-IVD and CE-IVDR).


Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 20%


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Danaher Business System (DBS) tools with Certified Practitioner status in VPM, PSP or DM
  • PMP Certification

The salary range for this role is $150,000- $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
