The Advanced Sensor Program (ASP) organization is looking for a program manager for the Advanced Airborne System under the Sustainment Fleet Readiness Product Support Team.

Product Support core business involves Depot Operations, Logistics, Item Control/Transportation, and the product line’s Centralized Logistic-Center. 

**This is an onsite position located at our Plano, TX facility.

**Relocation assistance is currently NOT available.

Will You Will Do: 

  • Sustainment Program Lead: responsibility for customer satisfaction, quality and fleet sparing posture and support
  • Depot Operations: responsibility consists of, providing inputs to Operations for monthly TAKT planning based on fleet performance and trends, communicating regularly with Operations and Supply Chain on status of repairs and materials for the fleet
  • Logistics: spares modeling, reconcile models with system performance actuals, monitor/understand scrap and beyond economical repair decisions and impacts, make obsolescence lifetime buy input, PHS&T/facilities, and affordability
  • Item Control/Transportation: monitor and maintain spares and maintenance inventory levels at multiple government sites, engage daily with government shipping team
  • Centralized Logistic-Center: maintain centralized spares and maintenance inventory hub; participate in quarterly metrics reviews of warehouse subcontractor; coordinate customer inspections of warehouse inventory
  • Tech Pub: responsibility for the evaluation updates, requests from the fleet, attend customer and major subcontractor board meetings for change review, and implement and release changes based on a set release cycle
  • Lead strategic customer engagements on a regular basis
  • Drive predictive measures, improvements, and efficiencies
  • Engage frequently with Field Service Representative Integrated Product Team (IPT) for projects
  • Interface and coordinate technical support to resolve customer issues
  • Identify financial risk and opportunities
  • Cost Account Manager of Product Support IPT
  • Able to travel at minimum 30%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Prior experience managing leading and managing in a matrix environment specifically within the Product Support Sub Mission team,
  • Prior experience with the execution of contracts & commitments
  • Prior experience with the identification of program technical risks and opportunities (system and component level) with effective mitigation/handling plans
  • Prior experienced in the development of Contract proposal basis of estimate.
  • Prior experience with basis of estimate (BOE) Developer and Approver
  • EVMS level II certification or similar program/system (ability to obtain within the first year)
  • Prior experience with analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting         
  • Prior experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required         

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Logistics Management
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Operations, Strategy, or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, CORE or ACE
  • Experience with Quality standards including AS9145, AS9100, ISO9001
  • Experience developing and mentoring team members & leaders
  • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior/executive level leadership
  • Experience with Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering and Quality
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in managing in high-performing, multi-disciplined/multifunctional teams in highly-matrix environment.
  • Experience leading management strategies to drive performance improvement across an enterprise
  • Strong interpersonal, business relationship and facilitation with high personal integrity
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
