About the RoleMiniMed is seeking an experienced Senior Business Process (BP) Program Manager to establish and lead our new Localization Shared Services program. In this high-impact role, you will own the strategy, budget, and execution of a scalable localization function spanning technical, regulatory, software, and marketing content. You will design the frameworks, select vendors, implement translation management systems, and set the quality standards that define how MiniMed communicates with patients and healthcare professionals worldwide. Working cross-functionally with project managers, line managers, and internal stakeholders, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure every localization initiative is delivered with precision and measurable impact - all in service of a company dedicated to transforming the lives of people living with diabetes.
About the RoleResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Establish new Localization shared services program, including strategy and planning, budget ownership, and prioritization of initiatives.
- Creates framework for scalable localization processes, including vendor selection, TMS (Translation Management System) management and machine translation utilization.
- Establishes meaningful metrics and mechanisms to measure program success.
- Manages relationship with localization vendor(s).
- Establishes processes for monitoring linguistic quality standards
- Evaluates legacy processes for improvement opportunities, develops processes and solutions fit to purpose for different types of content (technical literature, software, marketing materials, and others).
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and internal clients
Must Have: Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years experience managing programs in medical device or other highly regulated industry
OR
Advanced Degree and minimum of 5 years experience managing programs in medical device or other highly regulated industry
Nice to Have:- Degree in linguistics or languages
- 5+ years experience supporting localization for regulated industries
- Previous experience in medical device industry
- Cross functional leadership and collaboration across highly matrixed organization
- DITA XML or XSL-FO Certification or Training
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and localization automation tools
- Experience with software localization
- Strong background in establishing KPIs and program metrics
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Benefits & CompensationMiniMed offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits packageSalary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$136,000.00 - $230,000.00
For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $150,000.00 - $256,000.00 USD.
Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
