This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law.Main FunctionsThe Sr. Program Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of complex programs. This role ensures alignment with company strategy, customer commitments, and business goals while coordinating cross-functional & cross-plant resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
The position holds delegated authority across functions & across plants (including production, purchasing, and scheduling) to make customer commitments and drive successful outcomes. This is a critical leadership role in a high-reliability manufacturing environment serving aerospace, defense, and other demanding industries. Communicates status of projects both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs and related projects from initiation through completion.
- Facilitate definition of project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines; track deliverables using tools such as MS Project.
- Assemble and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
- Provide direction, support, and mentorship to project teams while monitoring progress and reporting to stakeholders.
- Communicate program status effectively to internal leadership, customers, vendors, and government representatives.
- Identify risks, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage program changes and interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Conduct project evaluations and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills- Proficient with computer applications such as MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point
- Process engineering knowledge
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills- Experience with ERP systems and product management tools (Salesforce, etc.).
- PMP, CPIM, or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or ISO 13485.
- Experience with FPC, rigid-flex, PCB fabrication, conformal coating, underfill, and functional testing.
Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, APIC's, and/or 7+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience Requirements7+ years project or program management experience in advanced flexible interconnect products (flex, rigid flex, heaters, laminated PCB with value added assembly & services) or other related manufacturing experience.
