JOB SUMMARY

Strategically leads and manages Six Sigma project portfolios in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages Black Belt and Green Belt-certified professionals in the planning, designing, and accomplishing of key projects.

Partners with leaders and end-customers to identify and deliver savings opportunities across all functions and activities. Organizes and engages account leaders in support of identifying and implementing tangible cost savings and operational improvement strategies.

Responsible for training and development of Lean Six Sigma, Maintenance Excellence, Self Perform, Back office, and OT management to all accounts within designated division.

Provides strategic and tactical guidance on where savings can be generated. As appropriate, directly leads and delivers projects and operational improvements.

Works closely with the account and corporate Finance and PMO departments to communicate savings details across the broader portfolio against set annual targets. Works closely with management to better understand the Voice of the Customer, customer needs, opportunities and timing of strategy implementation.

Liaises with account leadership to ensure resources are identified in support of portfolio savings and operational strategies. Provides regular updates with key deliverables/milestones to leadership to ensure proper alignment with goals.

Attends key internal and external customer meetings as an SME to report on defined opportunities, provide status updates and amplify communications. Develops contacts and relationships that can support the account savings plan and provide additional sources of advice to help drive savings and to promote best practices.

Supports the drive for value, service improvement and change across the entire portfolio.

Supports, as necessary, change management routines in the adoption of savings strategies that drive a change within the historical delivery of services.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field required plus a minimum of ten years experience with process improvement, project management or other related experience. Prior supervisory experience required.

Lean kaizen facilitation experience highly desired.

Prior process improvement and cost reduction experience

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate with people at all levels across the organization.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).

Demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results.

Ability to work in an environment where delivering requirements within tight timescales is a pre-requisite.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a

candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is

$130K per year and the maximum salary for the position is

or $152K per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate

will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also

be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
