Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead Analytics & Business Operations and drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making across the AWS InCommunities organization. This role will be responsible for establishing scalable operational frameworks, developing analytics capabilities, and providing strategic insights that enable the team to maximize impact and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will combine strong program management skills with analytical expertise, demonstrating the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights while building systems and processes that scale. You will work cross-functionally with community engagement managers, program teams, Amazon social impact teams, Public Policy, finance and others to optimize investments in our communities and measure program effectiveness. The ideal candidate must bring strong AI skills and a proven track record of driving AI adoption within their organization, coupled with a strong interest in exploring how emerging AI technologies can transform community impact measurement and operational processes.

Key job responsibilities

Operational Excellence

- Design and implement operational frameworks, processes, and tools that enable the InCommunities team to scale efficiently

- Lead quarterly and annual planning processes (OP1/OP2), including resource allocation, budgeting, and goal setting

- Establish and maintain operational metrics and dashboards to track program performance, social impact outcomes and business outcomes

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies

Analytics & Insights

- Build and maintain comprehensive analytics infrastructure to measure program impact, reach, and effectiveness

- Develop data models and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into key performance metrics

- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify community sentiment trends, conduct community needs assessments, and opportunities

- Create executive-level reports and presentations that communicate insights and recommendations

- Drive AI adoption within the organization, and evolve mechanisms to leverage AI for deeper community insights

Strategic Planning & Execution

- Support leadership in developing long-term community engagement strategy through data analysis and market research

- Identify and prioritize opportunities for program expansion, optimization, or sunset decisions

- Develop business cases and SROI analyses for new community initiatives and investments

- Track and report on progress against strategic goals and commitments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field

- 7+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or analytics roles

- Proven track record of building and scaling operational processes in fast-paced environments

- Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing narratives and business documents

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

- Experience in education, social impact, or community programs

- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling

- Experience working in a high-growth technology company

- Track record of implementing automation and process improvements

- PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
