Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Reports to: Director of Product Management, Axon Robotics

  • Analyze first-pass yield, outgoing quality, RMA, field performance, and customer escalation data to identify product risk, prioritize critical issues, and guide stop-ship, containment, and allowable defect decisions
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for complex product issues, partnering with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success to resolve high-impact issues with clear customer and business value
  • Manage sustaining engineering and post-launch optimization efforts that improve product reliability, reduce customer pain points, and strengthen field performance over time
  • Set product and lifecycle strategy in partnership with the Product Management lead, including SKU architecture, product specifications, end-of-life planning, and portfolio decisions across current and future product lines
  • Set SKU, pricing, and bundle architecture in partnership with the Product Management lead for our product lines, including hardware configurations, software tiers, accessories, service bundles, fleet offerings, and broader ecosystem integrations
  • Model product economics, including CoGS, margin, demand, and financial impact of proposed sourcing, design, pricing, and bundling decisions; validate ROI and set target economics for future production runs
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives across sourcing, component redesign, and system-level redesign, identifying opportunities early enough to influence production ramp and long-term profitability
  • Build commercial and sales operations readiness for new product launches and new markets, including pricing authority, deal desk workflows, channel processes, commercial escalation paths, contracts, sales tools, and system readiness before launch
  • Monitor post-launch performance to identify emerging quality issues, pricing friction, bundle performance, customer adoption trends, and operational gaps; lead rapid iteration and corrective action in real time
  • Travel onsite to customer locations to de-escalate critical situations, build confidence, and serve as a credible technical and business resource for customers and internal stakeholders
