Our team develops and manages enterprise applications that power the licensed product lifecycle for internal business teams and external licensees across multiple regions worldwide. These products include both custom-developed applications and strategic SaaS platforms supporting product approvals, digital asset management, publishing, workflow automation, and compliance.

The Senior Product Manager will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering, UX, architecture, operations, and regional teams to define product strategy, establish roadmaps, and deliver solutions that improve business outcomes across Disney's global licensing ecosystem. This position reports to the Director of Product Management.

About the Role

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining product strategy and leading the delivery of business capabilities across one or more enterprise applications. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define product direction, prioritize investments, and successfully deliver solutions that create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong product leadership, excels at translating business needs into product strategy, and effectively balances user experience, technology, operational efficiency, and organizational priorities throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and maintain product vision, strategy, and multi-release roadmaps aligned with business objectives and technology strategy.
  • Partner with business leadership to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and define measurable product outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain product objectives, success metrics, KPIs, and OKRs to measure product adoption, operational improvements, and business value.
  • Evaluate customer feedback, market trends, business priorities, and technology opportunities to continuously evolve the product strategy.
  • Balance strategic initiatives, technical investments, regulatory requirements, operational improvements, and customer enhancements within the product roadmap.

Product Discovery & Requirements
  • Lead discovery activities with global stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and future-state capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into well-defined product requirements, epics, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder reviews to validate requirements and align on product direction.
  • Define MVP scope, release priorities, and phased delivery strategies that maximize business value while managing risk.

Product Delivery
  • Drive portions of the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through delivery for assigned products and capabilities.
  • Own execution for small- to medium-sized product areas, including solution definition, validation, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with roadmap priorities and organizational objectives.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Architecture, Quality Engineering, and Operations throughout delivery.
  • Support release planning, user acceptance testing, implementation readiness, change management, and post-launch measurement.

Technology & Innovation
  • Contribute to the design, enhancement, modernization, and integration of custom software solutions and third-party SaaS platforms.
  • Partner with engineering teams to evaluate architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, testing strategies, scalability, and technical feasibility.
  • Apply emerging technologies-including AI, automation, analytics, cloud services, and workflow technologies-to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovative digital capabilities, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance products and business processes.

Leadership & Communication
  • Build strong partnerships across business, technology, operations, and regional organizations.
  • Influence decisions through data, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, product roadmaps, implementation strategies, status updates, and funding materials.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, risks, dependencies, and progress effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Foster collaboration across geographically distributed teams while promoting continuous improvement and product excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
