Full Job Description
Sr. Product Marketing Manager

You'll translate GRID Active, MDR, and Risk & Governance, AI, and partner-augmented capabilities into narratives that land with CISOs, risk officers, CIOs, and their teams.

You'll own full-funnel product marketing - positioning, launches, voice-of-customer, competitive intel, sales enablement - inside a go-to-market org that runs on AI-native workflows: a connected system of Claude skills that plans, drafts, and QAs go-to-market content, a Notion knowledge base that other AI workflows read from directly, and GuideFlow, an interactive demo tool turning product walkthroughs into self-serve buyer journeys. You won't just use AI tools to write faster; you'll build and maintain the automations that keep the function running. Working cross functionally across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product, you'll have the opportunity to create lasting impact for our customers, our market, and our company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own DefenseStorm's core messaging architecture - Company Messaging, Platform Messaging for GRID Active, the Strategic Messaging Map, and the DefenseStorm Lexicon - and keep it current as the product and competitive landscape move.
  • Maintain ICP and segmentation definitions across bank segments (Growth, Challengers, Niche, Large Regional, Leaders) and credit union segments (Champions, Expanders, Strivers, Survivors) consistently across Salesforce, campaign targeting, and territory planning.
  • Run the weekly competitive and market intelligence read-out against competitor set and the broader cyber and risk field, and keeping the Competitive Intel database and battlecards current and using the insights as ideas for new content.
  • Run the voice-of-customer workstreams, partnering closely with Product leadership.
  • Deliver and execute on product and solution level content strategy, working closely with demand marketing, sales, and product to make sure there's relevant content in the right format to put in the channels that matter to our customers and market.
  • Be the marketing counterpart to Product on launch tiering, commercial planning, and roadmap visibility for every release - including a standing weekly sync.
  • Lead go-to-market for new capabilities, features, products, & partners: internal & external release comms, SME-reviewed web page updates, refreshed product data sheets and one-pagers, relevant demo videos and other needed content.
  • Own the interactive demo strategy: working with all customer and prospect facing teams to develop use cases for different scenarios, and working with the relevant teams to product the content.
  • Keep the sales knowledge base, value frameworks, and sales intro decks accurate and aligned to what sellers actually build proposals from - not what marketing assumes they use.
  • Build and deliver enablement resources: FAQs, objection handling, and live training tied to releases and competitive moves, with Sales & Product leadership.
  • Support partner go-to-market (e.g. technology alliances like CrowdStrike) with content and positioning that Partnerships can execute independently.
  • Own and extend the Content Machine, AI workflow that turns market signals into briefs, campaign plans, and drafted content, with brand and terminology QA built in.
  • Build, document, and maintain Claude skills and automations that keep marketing's knowledge base, content pipeline, and sales-facing materials in sync with the product.
  • Partner with Sales/RevOps and Data on segmentation, GTM data quality, and reporting.
Required Education and Experience
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, owning positioning, messaging, and launches end to end.
  • 2+ years in cybersecurity, financial services, or another regulated B2B software category - you know why "examiner" isn't "auditor."
  • Experience building a repeatable voice-of-customer practice, turning call transcripts, reviews, and other insights into content and messaging inputs.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining AI-driven marketing workflows - custom GPTs, Claude skills, or comparable agentic automations - not just using AI tools to draft copy faster.
  • A track record of shipping product launches end-to-end: positioning through sales enablement through market feedback.
  • Excellent, plain-language writing - you can turn "5M+ events per FI per day, filtered to about one actionable alert" into a sentence a community bank CISO actually wants to read. Comfort owning a living knowledge base (Notion or similar) as a single source of truth, and the discipline to keep it that way once the newness wears off.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience marketing MDR, SOC, GRC, or risk-and-governance products specifically.
  • Prior experience inheriting or building a product marketing function through a team transition or backfill.
  • Familiarity with FFIEC, GLBA, or NCUA-adjacent compliance language.
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, a SQL data warehouse (we use ClickHouse), Gong, and marketing automation platforms.
