Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented Sr. Product Manager - Technical to lead the product portfolio for AWS Compliance & Security Assurance and related tools and services. As a member of the AWS Artifact team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a set of products and services that enable customers to identify, monitor, and access security and compliance-relevant information for their AWS infrastructure and services.

As a Sr. Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs, building roadmaps, and launching features that deliver value for large-scale enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be a builder and disruptor, not afraid to innovate for customers, and possess both business and technical acumen. We are particularly excited about candidates who have a passion for GenAI technologies and can envision innovative ways to leverage these emerging capabilities to better serve AWS Artifact customers.

A successful candidate will demonstrate proven product management skills, including understanding customer needs, managing competing priorities, and bringing clarity and order to ambiguous scenarios. Experience with cloud services, security, or delivering services for use by builders is highly desirable but not required. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as you will frequently work with leadership and colleagues across organizational boundaries.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to explore and implement GenAI technologies to enhance our product offerings, potentially revolutionizing how we approach security and compliance in the cloud. If you are ready to contribute to solving complex engineering and business problems, while having a material impact on cloud security and compliance - and are excited about the potential of GenAI in this space - we want to hear from you.

Key job responsibilities

We work backwards from the needs of customers to bring structure to ambiguous problems. As a Sr. Product Manager Technical on this team, you will:
• Define the vision for your product space and outline a roadmap that has the potential to significantly impact AWS's business and customer experience.
• Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing senior leadership, peers and partner teams.
• Partner with scientists, engineers and UX designers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of customer-facing experiences at scale.
• Drive data-informed decisions through customer research, behavior analysis, and performance metrics
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features.
• Stay abreast with industry trends and GenAI offerings
