Full Job Description
This role will require being full-time onsite at our Palo Alto office to support collaborative team dynamics and innovative problem-solving.

BitGo spent a decade building the infrastructure the digital asset industry runs on. Custody, settlement, wallets, a national trust bank charter. Rails that institutions trust with hundreds of billions of dollars.

Custody is the operating system. BitGo Labs builds the apps.

We are looking for a product manager who wants to launch more real products in one year than most PMs ship in a career.
What BitGo Labs is

Most corporate innovation labs are where ideas go to be studied. Decks get made. Pilots get piloted. Nothing ever meets a customer.

We built Labs to be the opposite of that. We push out real, live, revenue-generating products, and every one has to clear the same two-part bar:
  1. A value proposition or economics only possible because of crypto. If a normal company could build it on normal rails, it fails the test. We only build things where owning the infrastructure is the unfair advantage.
  2. Only buildable this fast because of AI. Three months from blank page to live product. Not a prototype, not a beta behind a waitlist. Live.

The first product is already out in the world, built and launched inside ninety days. More are coming. Some will become businesses. Some will be shut down on schedule, without ceremony, because the numbers said so. Both outcomes are the system working.
What You'll Do:

You'll sit at the center of the machine, working directly with BitGo's CEO and the Head of Labs.

Ideas can come from anywhere, including you. Most will come from those two. Either way, an idea is just a thesis until someone turns it into a product real people use, and that someone is you.

A cycle looks like this:
  • Take a thesis and find the product inside it. The first user, the wedge, the smallest version worth putting in the world. Push back hard if the thesis is wrong. You'll be doing this with the CEO in the room, so be the kind of person who gets sharper in that room, not quieter.
  • Ship it in ninety days. Write the spec, run the build, make the tradeoffs, cut scope when the calendar says so. Pull BitGo's custody, stablecoin, and settlement rails into a consumer surface. Buy instead of build where it's faster.
  • Set the bar before launch. Real numbers, committed in advance, that decide the product's fate. No moving the goalposts after the fact.
  • Read the results honestly. Then double down or kill it, and start the next one.

You will not be handed a roadmap. You'll be handed rails, a budget, and a deadline.
Who Would Be a Great Fit:
  • Someone who has taken a product from nothing. Startup, side project, or a true zero-to-one team inside a bigger company. We don't care which. "I ran the roadmap for an existing product" is a different job.
  • Someone with 5+ years in product, at least some of it consumer.
  • Someone who builds. You prototype with AI tools, wire up working demos, run your own analysis. The era of the PM who can only write documents is over, and you're glad.
  • Someone comfortable with crypto, or unafraid of getting there fast. You don't need to have shipped a crypto product. You need to understand why owning the rails changes what a consumer app can be.
  • Someone who decides. Small team, short cycles, no committee coming to save you.
  • Someone who can kill their own work. Shut it down, take the learning, start the next one without a mourning period. This is rarer than shipping, and we screen for it.
The honest part

This job has no stable roadmap, no big team, no tidy org chart. Some of what you build will be shut down, and you'll be the one who makes that call. If you want three years compounding on a single product, this is the wrong job, and we'd rather you know now.

But if you've ever looked at a big company's infrastructure and thought about everything you could build if someone just let you, this is the job where someone lets you.
We offer:
  • Competitive base salary, bonus and stock options
  • Paid vacation
  • Free custom lunches, dinners and snacks
  • Computer equipment and workplace furniture to suit your needs
  • Great colleagues and inspiring startup environment
  • Benefits may vary based on location

If you're passionate about scaling secure, compliant, and user-friendly wallet infrastructure, we'd love to talk.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $180,000 - $200,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
