As Sr. Product Manager, AI Security, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for our AI-native security capabilities: Agent Control, NHI Governance, Secretless, and MCP Gateway. You are BeyondTrust's internal expert on the agentic AI threat landscape, translating Phantom Labs research into product requirements and keeping our roadmap ahead of how adversaries exploit AI systems.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as BeyondTrust's internal AI security subject matter expert, synthesizing Phantom Labs threat research, competitive intelligence, and analyst coverage into product decisions
  • Partner with the AI Coworker Security team to define, validate, and iterate on requirements for securing AI agents, MCP servers, and agentic orchestration frameworks
  • Maintain deep understanding of the agentic AI ecosystem including MCP protocol, multi-agent orchestration frameworks, LLM tool-calling, and prompt injection attack chains
  • Define and maintain BeyondTrust's framework for AI workload security distinguishing AI-assisted from AI-executed workflows
  • Conduct primary market research with CISOs, security architects, and IAM engineers through win/loss analysis, customer advisory boards, and analyst briefings
  • Drive BeyondTrust's design partner program for AI security capabilities, recruiting early customers and translating feedback into roadmap priorities
  • Perform competitive analysis across CyberArk, Delinea, Astrix, Entro, Oasis, Wiz, and emerging NHI and agentic security vendors
  • Coordinate AI-related product work across the BeyondTrust portfolio ensuring architectural consistency and eliminating duplication
  • Represent BeyondTrust's AI security vision with industry analysts, customer advisory boards, and security industry events
  • Work with Product Marketing and Solutions Engineering to develop positioning and launch plans for AI security capabilities
  • Support pre-sales engagements and respond to complex technical questions related to AI security architecture

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of proven product management experience in cybersecurity, identity security, cloud security, or closely related domain
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of AI and ML systems architecture, including how LLM agents, MCP servers, tool-calling, and RAG pipelines work
  • Proven ability to read and synthesize security research, including CVEs, exploit chains, threat intelligence reports, and security conference presentations
  • Working knowledge of identity security disciplines: PAM, IAM, secrets management, workload identity, NHI lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with the NHI threat surface, including service accounts, API keys, OAuth tokens, machine certificates, and agent session tokens
  • Experience defining product strategy in a fast-moving market category with limited prior precedent
  • Track record of collaborating with security research, engineering, and threat intelligence teams in a technical PM capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication able to engage CISOs, security architects, and developers at appropriate levels
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep intellectual curiosity and habit of reading threat research and analyst reports

Nice To Have
  • Security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience building or operating AI agents or agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, Claude Agent SDK, or similar)
  • Prior experience in a cybersecurity vendor's product management, threat research, or security engineering function
  • Experience with BeyondTrust product suite or competing PAM and IAM platforms
